Okay,
You know there are a lot of shows out there and with online viewing I admit most of my time is spent on my computer these days than the TV. SO sad. For starters by the time I get home, some of my favorite shows are already over and since I’m also into web design and take online college courses, well it’s no wonder that my laptop is my new close friend.
Anyway, a couple of my favorite shows were Sex in the City and Charmed. I know I know, let’s not go there but they were addictive at least to me. So now my ‘replacement’ show is ‘My Boys’ on TBS. I LOVE THIS SHOW. It’s got all the whit, humor and comedic skills that sorely missed in televisioin today and it doesn’t need the ‘reality based’ or sexual scenes to keep it flowing. It’s fresh and relatable regardless of your background and it identifies with that awkward ‘tomboy’ syndrome that happens to carry over into the late twenties and even early thirties for some women. Great show.
So when you get a chance check it out. It’s a summer show on TBS and it’s back for it’s next season in June. Honestly, I know they claim Tyler Perry’s ‘House of Payne’ is the funniest cable show but to me, they haven’t run up against ‘My Boys’. I love Tyler, don’t get me wrong, but now he’s got competition on TBS in my book . They may not run in the same time slot or day but as far as ‘best comedy’ I think ‘My Boys’ is a sure fire winner for that.
