Okay, the 1st query letter is submitted to the first AGENT. And the clock begins to TICK. While I’m waiting for a response I’ll just keep writing, editing and promoting. Man once you submit something via mail or email there’s literally no turning back. NO matter how many times you edit, proof and read it you’re never quite satisfied you dotted every I or crossed every t.
I figured if I kept editing it and rewriting it I would procrastinate on sending it. And like a friend of mine said, no one will know my book is available unless I put it out there. All I can do is do better with each query. So I need to start refining the synopsis and the first 3 chapters just in case I get a positive response. That’s the 411. Good luck to all of you doing the same thing and please share your success stories!
