Okay, I’ve been doing well getting up early in the morning going for a brisk walk/ jog monday – friday and plopping in my slim in 6 work out DVD 2-3 times a week. I’ve been eating breakfast more regularly and just trying to stay active all around. I’m thinking I’m doing the thing by really embracing this discipline in my fitness regimen.
Then today at lunch a co-worker and I went to Chilli’s and she told me something that makes sense but at the same time I’m like AACK, so many rules to keeping in shape. I’ve already heard that you should work out before you eat breakfast in the morning so you’re burning the calories you ate prior but she said she heard, that if you don’t eat breakfast within 1/2 hour of waking up, your body has already ‘kicked in’ to starvation mode so it begins STORING FAT!!!!
So of course you know a sistah like me will have to work out then eat a light snack at least before I get to work from now on if that’s true. In an odd way, it does make sense though. Is that crazy or what? I’ve never heard this until today so if you have any comments on that please SHARE and site links or authorized resources.
