Yeah I’m on a mission to lose 25 pounds by my b-day next year. I’m one of those yo-yo people when it comes to weight loss but the hardest part is ‘getting up when you’d rather lay it down’. So over the years I’ve gotten into healthier eating, substition and finding activities that I enjoy that bring cardio into my life but don’t feel like I’m working out. So far so good. Anyway, one of the books I plan to read is by a fellow writer (now author) Bridgette Collins.
From what I’ve read of it so far, it focuses on the ‘true’ elements of losing weight. You can try any exercise regimen, meal plan, fad diet, or cleansing program but if your weight gain is tied to your emotions, self-esteem, spiritual needs or due to a lack of discipline and self-control, unless you identify and work on those root issues, very few weight loss plans will be successful. Bridgette Collins takes you into the lives of 3 fictional characters going through life changes and weight loss with the help of a personal trainer based in Dallas. Through their experiences you can Imagine Living Healthier .
